Our recognised capability for delivering cutting edge solutions
in the transport sector is strengthened by the fact that we have
been specialising in the field for over 105 years.
Our project portfolio began in 1902 when we were involved in the
delivery of the world’s first underground railway in London. A mere
few years later saw the end of another major project – Blackfriars
Bridge – and its anniversary coincides with the opening of Heathrow
Airport’s new Terminal 5.
Around the world the Group has achieved resounding success on
transport projects by road, rail, sea and air: Hong Kong Airport,
Taiwan High Speed Rail and Delhi Metro extension to name a few.
